of Business
and
Commerce
is a private Institution
which was established in January,
1991 to meet the needs of men and
women who, for various
reasons, did not accomplish their educational goals. The
Institute makes every
attempt to fill a void by augmenting the number of
Institutions offering courses
which cater to students who are
preparing to take up employment
in all areas of trade and industry.
- Mrs. Valrie Dean is the Institute's administrator.
BUILDING
AND LOCATION
IBC is situated on the second floor of the Plaza del Sol on Prince Charles Drive, east, next to Ken Perigord Shell Service Station.
FACILITIES
Facilities
include well-equipped,
carpeted and air-conditioned classrooms
with adequate, both inside and
outside. Equipment consist of modern personal computers and electronic
typewriters.
Adjoining restaurants and bakery will provide dining facilities. There is a covered area for dining.
ACCREDITATION
Institute
of Business
and Commerce is registered and approved
by the Department of Public
Personnel and the Ministry of
Education. The Institute is also
an approved
centre for Holborn College, the
University of Wolverhampton and Pitman
Examinations Board in the United Kingdom.
IBC
serves as an administrator for home
study and degree courses and prepares external students of University of
London, Holborn and Wolverhampton for the LL.B
(Law Degree) Programme.
EMERGENCY/HEALTH
CARE
A
medical Doctor is assigned to the
Institute in case of emergency or ill health.
CERTIFICATES/DIPLOMAS
In addition to the Certificates of Attendance that will be awarded by IBC for the Computer Science and the Paralegal Training courses, Diplomas and LL.B Degrees will be awarded by the Examining Boards concerned and the Universities.
Current
fees are outlined under each course heading and may be remitted by
cash , certified cheque or in the form of credit card payment.
